With the founding of the company Mobitel d.d. in 1991, they became one of the first authorized representatives for the sale, installation and service of NMT and GSM mobile phones in Dolenjska.
1989
After twelve years, the company began to sell telephones, first classic, then portable, and already in 1989, on the site of the former outbuilding, a larger building with a sales hall and a garage was built, where they carry out repairs and assembly.
1986
The activity is expanding, in 1986 the company finds a larger space in the house, as the number of employees also increases to five.
1985
In 1985 we produced the first Kolibri wireless sound system model.
1982
Branko Kovačič started his business as an electronics enthusiast. As an electrical engineer, in 1982, when he had already had an afternoon trade for some time, he left his job at Iskra in Kostanjeviška and started his own business, on ten square meters in his home in Šmarje.
He is engaged in the repair and manufacture of electronic devices such as sound systems, telephones, car radios, and to order manufactures electronic assemblies for companies, etc.

The mission of the company is to offer customers the best quality services, which are the result of persistence in specialized activities and professional training of employees. We are always aware that success does not depend only on the last one. Long-term relationships with brokers, suppliers and customers are also important to us. We are aware that employees create a high level of service, which is why we monitor innovations on the market together, educate ourselves, foresee the wishes of customers in advance and, of course, want to meet them as much as possible.

Leave the Ljubljana-Zagreb highway at the Dobruška vas exit and turn right towards Šentjernej. After 5 kilometers you will reach a roundabout and you will see Mercator center on your left. At the roundabout, take the third exit and on the right you will see the Kobra office building, next to which you can find free parking spaces.

With the help of good architects and quality contractors, who knew how to listen to our wishes and needs, and with knowledge of modern technology, in 2011 we managed to build an exceptional low-energy business building, Kobra.
Sustainable construction with emphasis on energy efficiency with a good measure of green building principles
The conceptual design of the facility was based on functionality, and all solutions were subordinated to sustainable construction. The design followed the principles of integral planning and interdisciplinary cooperation of all designers and the investor already in the conceptual design phase. With low-energy principles, we influenced the placement of the building in the space and, as a result, the strict orientation of the building's southern facade. Special care was given to the airtight envelope of the building, even during the foundation, any potential thermal bridge on the facade and also on the roof was treated, on the building we used 20- centimeter insulation. We chose only high-quality and durable materials and strived for the perfection of every detail.
The use of renewable energy sources and a central control system
The basic guideline was to use as many renewable energy sources as possible, of which the advantages of geothermal and solar energy are mainly used at the facility. In this way, we use natural resources for heating, cooling, electricity generation, ventilation and sanitary water use. All renewable energy sources are interconnected via a reversible heat pump, which, in addition to heating the building and sanitary water, enables passive and active cooling of the building. We used a water well at a depth of 40 m, 4 geosondes with a depth of 100 m, a ground air heat exchanger, a 50 m³ rainwater tank and a 50-kw solar power plant.
The building's central control system enables regulation of lighting, fire detection and reporting, technical security, regulation of ventilation and room temperature, mechanical and air-conditioning devices, and regulation of blinds.
Functional and creative work environment
The rooms are designed dynamically and functionally, and the inclusion of colors and accents in the rooms creates an interesting, positive and stimulating work environment. Well-lit rooms, which have a lot of natural light with the additional possibility of digital lighting control, and fresh air that is suitably clean, cooled and humidified also contribute to the well-being of the building's users.
Elements of bioclimatic construction enable a more favorable climate
We introduced elements of bioclimatic construction into the architectural design with horticultural arrangements around the building and troughs on the terrace. In addition to additional shading of the southern parts of the facade, intensive plantings enable a more pleasant climate.

Considering the specific use of energy required for heating and shared energy use, we can claim that the building meets passive standards. The building is energy positive, as it produces more energy than it consumes.

Environmental responsibility through the use of renewable energy sources
At Kobra, we take environmental responsibility seriously. Our values are best expressed in the Kobra office building, which is an exemplary example of environmentally friendly construction, and also in our relationship with our employees, especially the most vulnerable groups.
We produce more energy than we use
With the installation of a photovoltaic power plant on the roof of the building and the carport, the production of its own electricity is also guaranteed. All renewable energy sources are hydraulically connected to each other via a reversible heat pump, which, in addition to heating the building and sanitary water, enables passive and active cooling of the building.
Cooling and heating are provided by geothermal energy
All rooms have a piped underfloor heating system. In summer, cooled water circulates through the same system, which contributes to more pleasant living conditions.
Freshness is ensured by the ground aerator
Fresh air enters through a common ground vent. On the way to the facility, the air is partially heated in winter and partially cooled in summer. It is then further purified and heat treated in a ventilation device with a highly efficient recuperation, heating and cooling unit.
Rainwater replaces municipal water in toilets and when watering greens
Near the building is an underground rainwater tank with a hydrophoric station, which replaces the consumption of communal water in the toilets and is used for watering the greens.
Environmental responsibility with waste equipment management
Due to their composition and content of hazardous components, waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and waste batteries and accumulators are a special type of waste, so they must not be disposed of as mixed municipal waste, but must be stored separately from other types of waste.
In the company, according to the principle of producer responsibility, we carry out our obligations arising from European directives within the framework of joint plans for handling WEEE and waste batteries and accumulators of the company TRIGANA, d.o.o. End-of-life electrical and electronic equipment can be returned to us directly when purchasing a similar product. You can also give away waste batteries and accumulators without the obligation to buy them again. Drop-off is possible at special collection points within the framework of the local municipal service. On the website www.ozavescen.si you can obtain information about waste recycling, reuse centers and a list of collection centers of municipal companies.
Social responsibility by employing vulnerable groups
Employment plays an important role in achieving the social inclusion of vulnerable groups.
With the status of a company with disabilities, we ensure equal opportunities and equal treatment for all employees and thus contribute to a better life for disabled individuals, the local environment and society as a whole. The proportion of employees with disabilities in the company is 50% of all employees.

Kind to our hearts too. A heart-friendly company is a project whose purpose is to connect employees, companies and local people and encourage them to help each other in case of accidents or sudden cardiac arrest.
By joining the project and obtaining the Heart Friendly Company certificate, we want to improve the safety of employees, their family members, business partners and residents of the area. By purchasing a resuscitation device (AED-defibrillator) and using the iHELP application on smartphones, we can contribute to reducing mortality from cardiac arrest and the severe consequences of disability for employees and residents in our area.
